Pacesetter Signs and Graphics, Inc is a full-service sign and graphics company in Elkton, Maryland and is seeking a Lead Sign Maker to be our Operations Leader.  Our mission is to be the premier sign partner by delivering the best products, on time and on budget, while providing outstanding customer service before, during, and after the sale. We want to “set the pace” for quality and service in the sign industry.

Are you ready to become a Pacesetter? Pacesetter Signs and Graphics, Inc is seeking an experienced Sign Business Operations Leader to join our team.

What we are specifically looking for is someone with:

• The drive to get fully immersed in partnering in the startup of this new business.
• 5-7 years of hands-on sign making experience.
• Graphic design experience, specifically in the Adobe suite or similar.
• Experience with RIP software.
• Color management and matching experience.
• Broad range of Sign Installation experience(surface applications, wraps, monuments, channel letters, dimensional signs, etc.).
• Experience with face-to-face customer interactions.
• Versed in coordinating with outsource partners, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• The drive of an entrepreneur.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• A hunger to learn and grow professionally.
• The ability to have fun.

Other qualifications:

• Knowledge of power tools and hardware for sign installation.
• Knowledge of, and ability to work with, different substrates.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
• Comfortable working on a ladder.
• Must have flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to substrate.
• Project management/workflow experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

If you’re a sign industry professional with the qualifications listed below, we want to hear from you TODAY!

• 5+ years sign industry experience.
• Background in vinyl creation & application and large format digital printing.
• Strong computer and file management skills as well as design creativity.
• Expert experience in one or more of the following programs: Flexi SIGN

In Design, Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop.

• Experience with ONYX or similar RIP software is required.
• Experience with sign industry Core Bridge software would be a plus.
• Solid track record of accurately estimating and meeting deadlines.
• Detail-orientation and multi-tasking skills are critical.
• Solid communication skills.
• Good math skills.
• Strong people skills, able to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Work directly with both customers and subcontractors.
